Professional bodybuilder Nyle Nayga had bodybuilding sensation Tristyn Lee as the guest for his podcast. During their nearly two-hour-long conversation, Nayga touched on the sensitive topic of steroid usage. While Tristyn Lee claims to be a natural bodybuilder, the host told him about his experience of using ste***ds. The IFBB Pro revealed that the side effects are not just physical.

The IFBB Pro, who earned the nickname ‘Goku’ (a character from the anime Dragon Ball Z), explained how his physique and mental health were affected. While Nayga was thankful to escape the worst of the mental health side effects, he was surprised by how his body changed after using gear.

The Men’s Physique competitor told Lee that he didn’t like “taking gear.” While he had to take performance-enhancing d**gs to compete professionally, he prefers to stay away from ste***ds. “It makes your physique look great,” said the host. However, Nayga said he saw too many changes and not all of them were positive.

Thankfully, the bodybuilding sensation didn’t suffer the worst side effects of using PEDs. This could indicate that the IFBB Pro used lower dosages or stayed away from some of the more notorious PEDs. While altering his hormones affected his mental health, Nyle Nayga said, “I am still who I am. My personality is intact.” One of the side effects of using such substances is aggression.

Fortunately, the bodybuilding and fitness influencer feels blessed that didn’t become aggressive. However, there were many physical changes he found alarming. One of the most significant ones was aging. “I’ve noticed that my face looks a lot older,” said the bodybuilder, although he is still in his 20s. However, not all of it was bad.

Nayga said before using ste***ds he couldn’t grow a beard. However, that changed after using PEDs. The bodybuilder also escaped another common side effect: Losing hair. Since the bodybuilding sensation’s hair is a big reason he earned the nickname Goku, losing it would be a disaster. Nayga’s guest also chimed in.

Anyone can have hormonal imbalances

The bodybuilding prodigy weighed in with his opinion. Tristyn Lee explained that all bodybuilders are at risk of hormonal imbalances messing with their gains. Lee didn’t that natural bodybuilders would be immune to side effects if they didn’t maintain a disciplined lifestyle. From getting enough sunlight to sleep health, everything matters.

Lee explained that not living or eating healthy can mess up your hormones. This would in turn affect not just your gains but also your mental health. However, it’s worth noting that the bodybuilding sensation didn’t undermine the effects of PEDs. Just like Nyle Nayga explained, taking ste***ds is bound to have negative side effects.
