Chris Bumstead is among the most iconic figures in the new era of bodybuilding. With his exceptional prowess of strength and amazingly aesthetic physique, he is the current reigning champion of the Mr. Olympia competitions after Jay Cutler. However, with the increasing pace of competition in the realms of the sport, the difficulty level just keeps going uphill.

Taking to the increasing level of hardships in the sphere, CBum recently took to his Instagram and shared a post that almost scared his followers, but ended with a happy note. However, this time he comes bearing yet another news.

Chris Bumstead reveals about his personal problems

Chris Bumstead took to his official YouTube channel @chrisbumstead and shared a video sharing his life update with the entire fitness community. He captioned it, “Life Update”. In the video, he talks about how he has been struggling through his prep session and opens up about what has been bothering him.

He says, “I ended up just turning into hell a bunch of some person stuff happened and it was like stressful. I was losing sleep, I couldn’t sleep regardless my body got kind of sick, my body kind of shut down”. However, he does not entirely reveal what has been causing all these.

He even added that he might share what really is going on with him, but right now he needs a little more time to settle in.  He shall disclose it all in the next few weeks, but for now, he just revealed how his mental health has been taking a toll on his body. Well, his previous Instagram post too was a hint of it.

Chris Bumstead leaves the fitness community scared with his post

Chris Bumstead recently took to his Instagram post and shared a picture of himself from the stage and wrote about how this year has been among the most challenging prep seasons of his life, but he even said that he is grateful for all that he has been through the past years in his bodybuilding career. He wrote, It’s an opportunity to put my awareness on how beautiful life is as a whole so I don’t get stuck focusing on what’s going wrong.”

However, he even added that the road has been pretty hard, and on days, he often felt discouraged and he still keeps stressing about the challenges, wishing that all of this would have never happened. He even talks about how quitting is a courageous thing to do at times, and he has thoughts about it. This is what scared the bodybuilding world. But at the end, he added, “That time may be soon, it may be far, I honestly don’t know. All I know is that it is not right now.” What do you think is going on with the star bodybuilder?
