Katherine Schwarzenegger has carved out an identity that differs from her father, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The eldest child has not taken up bodybuilding. Instead, she is a celebrated children’s book author. However, both dad and daughter are animal lovers. Earlier, the New York Bestseller shared a picture of her first love. Noticeably, husband Chris Pratt was missing from the celebration.

Katherine shared a heartfelt picture reflecting her love of animals on Instagram. It is none other than a beautiful horse that turned 31. The post is an ode to her first love.

Sporting an infectious smile, the ‘Good Night Sister’ author displayed her love for Cinco, a friend she had had since middle school. She wrote in the caption, “Horse girl forever and always. My beauty boy is 31, happy, and so grateful he’s here to let my girls feed him, pet him, and hug him.” The message underscored the deep bond Katherine had developed with Cinco over the years, and his turning 31 was indeed a joyous occasion. Interestingly, the post mentions her daughter, but Chris Pratt seems to be left out from the celebratory toast.

The 33-year-old spent most of her time with Cinco as a child, away from the humdrum affairs of life. The dynamic duo would prepare for competitions after school. Moreover, Katherine learned many important life lessons, such as patience, loyalty, and perseverance from the majestic being. Her post also highlights the generational bond the human rights advocate and her two daughters, Lyla and Eloise, have forged with Cinco.

Her husband, Chris Pratt, also shares a loving bond with her 26-year-old friend, although Katherine was worried about their first meeting. Despite living amidst the glitz and glory of Tinseltown, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger does not forget to show her emotional side. The equestrian lover is also an ardent animal advocate.

Her book, “Maverick and Me,” released in 2017, talks about the importance of adopting pets at a young age, and that is how she met her best friend, ‘Maverick’. As per Katherine, the teenage years are a time when most children ask for pets. Hence, it is the perfect time to introduce children to the concept of animal care and rescue.
