His dreams of being a professional cricketer were crushed after a series of health struggles. Eventually, he stumbled into bodybuilding, which also channeled his negative feelings from his past. Today, the athlete is recognized as a Hollywood star, and has massive respect within the fitness world owing to his Hulk-like physique.?

However, maintaining the gigantic frame is no child?s play. A recent interview by Escape Fitness featured the actor opening up about his diet regime. Ford revealed the insane amount of calories his meals can go up to while pointing out that it urges him to be careful about his food.?

As per the interview on YouTube, the 41-year-old was asked about the typical diet that helps him be in shape, even when he is not training for a movie. Thus, he promptly answered that he?s always loved ?clean food? and is a good eater. Further revealing that he never really liked sweet things, like chocolate and such, ?I?ve been quite lucky in that sense,? he chimed in.?

Ford once again pointed out that he?s always been a ?food fan?, although it has its own set of disadvantages. Speaking about his appetite, the English bodybuilder shared, ?I don?t have a switch off, my appetite is ridiculous and I?m very carb sensitive.? When the star?s not careful, his meals can carry up to three to four thousand calories ?easily?.?

Therefore, his typical meal, when he?s not training, he claimed would be an oats egg breakfast, rice cake, cottage cheese, fruit, great yogurt, nuts, snacks, and more. Surprisingly, Ford relishes a jaw-dropping eight meals a day, double the times of an average person. Hence, it is easy to imagine how he built his hulky 6?8 physique. However, when Ford is aiming for bulking up, his meals also get a size up.?

The athlete shared in the interview that when increasing his size, his meal count can go to eight times easily. Whereas when he?s really putting in an effort, Ford?s meals comprise eight to ten thousand calories. Moreover, the Mortal Kombat 2 actor often wakes up in the middle of the night to eat and then goes back to sleep.?

This is the reason why Ford enjoys a good diet because he doesn?t ?have to eat all the time.? However, people question his fondness for dieting, which he clarified as, ?It’s nice because it’s normal.? Interestingly, the athlete doesn?t even set an alarm to get up at odd hours of the night, because he simply wakes up out of starvation.?
