“This is so very Arnold. He is the action governor, right?” said Sherry Bebtich Jeffe to SFGATE news. She was a political analyst at the University of Southern California. At the time of the incident, no one was there to report it live, and neither did the governor make any splash about it for headlines. However, it didn’t take long for it to catch on.
A man who remained nameless was swimming in the waters of Maui, Hawaii, and suddenly started feeling a loss of control. He felt that the water was cramping up and he started panicking. Luckily for him, Arnold Schwarzenegger was there. Schwarzenegger went into the water and started calming the man down.

Schwarzenegger’s time in politics gave him immense joy
Even in his latest Netflix docuseries ‘Arnold’, Schwarzenegger recalled that he joined politics only to help people, to give back what he had earned over the years. It wasn’t only about money, but helping people in every which way he could. Saving a swimmer’s life from drowning is also part of it. Schwarzenegger was staying at the Four Seasons Hotel at the time, and so was Pat O’Brien of Access Hollywood. The incident caught wind in no time, and from one ear to another, it spread like wildfire.
