Arnold Schwarzenegger has always been like a beacon of light for youngsters who wanted to follow their bodybuilding journey and possibly make a career out of it. During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Schwarzenegger was questioned about his new book and its potential impact on the youth, particularly those who identify with specific labels. However, Schwarzenegger chose not to recognize individuals with such labels. Instead, he expressed his belief that such labels cause harm rather than good in society. He suggested that his book might provide a much-needed break or relief for those individuals.
Later this year, Arnold Schwarzenegger will publish a self-help book called ‘Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life’. The book targets disaffected youth who label themselves as “alpha males.” However, Schwarzenegger dismisses the term and promotes equality for everyone.

Arnold Schwarzenegger thinks that many young boys are drawn to the idea of calling themselves ‘alpha males’, trying to show that they are strong leaders who only answer to themselves. They associate the term ‘alpha’ with wolves, where the alpha male leads the pack. However, in a civilized society, Schwarzenegger believes these individuals can create more problems than they solve.
When the interviewer from The Hollywood Reporter asked him, “Your book is aimed at disaffected young people, particularly young men. Some of these guys call themselves “alpha males.” What do you think of the term?” Schwarzenegger answered, “I just don’t identify anyone with anything. The more we label people, the more people fight amongst each other and the more there is negativity,” without skipping a beat and with no hesitation.
He continued, “I always see everyone as a person. It comes from my bodybuilding days… If you’re Black and lost 200 pounds or if you’re Chinese, it makes no fu**ing difference”. He then proceeds to explain how when he started out bodybuilding, people would focus on just the bodybuilding prowess of everyone irrespective of their race, age, nationality, or any other tags or labels.
Arnold Schwarzenegger takes full responsibility for his past mistakes
Arnold Schwarzenegger is the same, and he believes it was inculcated in him from when those days. Schwarzenegger continues, “This is how I try to operate — not that I’m perfect, or that I haven’t been prejudiced or disrespectful. I’m trying”. In recent times, Schwarzenegger has openly acknowledged that some of the statements he made in his youth, regardless of their acceptability at the time, were unequivocally wrong. With respect to his allegations of groping women in the past, Schwarzenegger issued a public apology to all those people. He, however, has vowed to learn from his mistakes and move ahead in life.
