Although many people would not be able to pinpoint his main field of profession by his appearance, the retired Master Sergeant is in fact, a renowned chef who has also famously provided his service at the White House. Despite getting much fame and recognition as a chef with culinary expertise Chef Rush still trains harder and he recently explained why.

In an interview, Chef Rush was asked about his true feelings when people praised him for his physique. Instead of bragging about his magnificent body, the humble chef instead pointed at the stereotype most chefs are victims of and then he also insinuated his attempt of a breakthrough from that while also creating a better representation.

Chef Rush talks against the standardized notion
In an interview with Muscle Tech, Chef Rush expressed how most chefs are often recognized as big, fat, and always eat sloppy. He stated, “I want to you know get rid of that stigma and let everybody know especially men, which a lot of the men that follow me they are like a chef I love to cook and also stay healthy.” Then he proceeded to explain his motivation is to become a representative. He announced, “That’s what it’s about you got to be a representation.”

Moreover, the chef also pointed out that now that he is part of the media which gives him the platform to become an idol for society, the chef did not want to let it go. He thus commented, “I did my TV show the same way, so I can represent correctly.”

The show Chef Rush was referring to was in fact produced by one of the most renowned stars of Culinary arts, Gordon Ramsay. Hence it is needless to say that Andre Rush’s cooking skills are as stunning as his physique.

Chef Rush’s TV show
Andre Rush has recently starred in his own TV show called, “Kitchen Commando”, which was produced by Gordon Ramsay. He also confessed to knowing him for a while. He stated, “He produced my show I’ve known him for a few years that’s kitchen commando.” But then Rush went ahead to explain how he had also been on the last season of MasterChef in order to honor and show respect to the military.
