Bodybuilding is not just a sport, it is a source of motivation and inspiration to many. Recently a man called, Paul Barnard from Chertsey, Surrey, England, achieved something remarkable in his quest to lose weight. He’s been training for years to fulfill his dreams. A father of two struggled with obesity for many years. He gained more than 155 kg and used to eat a lot, his one-day calorie intake was more than 12 thousand.
He was ashamed of going outside, because of his weight. He tried a lot to lose weight but never got disciplined enough to achieve something like this. Barnard, after getting the desired result used his Instagram account to motivate others.

The 39 YO, lately uploaded his weight loss journey to his Instagram account. He says he’s been overweight for many years, but for the first, he was so focused that it took 18 months to have a body like this.
In one of his posts, he said “I DONE IT….” He said without his coach he wouldn’t get the results “Together, we have shifted 75kg, and I have lost over 80kg from my highest-known weight, more than halving my own body weight.”
He also confessed his passion for bodybuilding he quoted the question “So what’s next? And answered it with a clear vision toward his future, “I’m taking some time to develop my physique, and for the first time in my life, train in a surplus to pack on some tissue, and then next year…….. I’m going to compete in the @pureelite_official Transformation category in body building💪”. He further added that he also wants to focus on his studies to get proper knowledge.

From fat to fab!
Barnard shared his own experience of what he used to think of himself during his struggle days. He explained, how he gained so much weight and got addicted to overeating. During an interview with Daily Star, Paul revealed, “I’ve struggled with my weight for my life- It’s fluctuated for years, and then after a breakup when I was around 20 a relationship ended and I didn’t take it well.” He also disclosed his habits of having alcohol and drugs, he became addicted to food as well he said, “Food was just another addiction for me.”
Moreover, He reached a point where it became difficult to even get up from the bed and sofa, he couldn’t even tie his shoelaces. In 2021, he decided to change his life for good and the results are remarkable.

His journey serves as a testament to the power of self-belief, hard work, and perseverance. He demonstrated that a clear vision, relentless dedication, and willingness, can make you achieve even the loftiest goals in life.
