As per the report by The Hollywood Reporter, Holocaust Museum L.A. is honoring Schwarzenegger for his tough stance on horrific issues that destroyed millions of lives. The 75-year-old icon has always spread the message of love, imploring others to shun hateful ideologies. Many months ago, taking cognizance of the growing hate in the post-truth world order, the USC Schwarzenegger Institute sent out a tweet that read, “‘I don’t want that to happen in the world. Not in Germany, not in Austria, not in America, nowhere’. Governor @Schwarzenegger on why dismantling hate is an important issue to him.”
In 2022, he also visited Auschwitz and called it the ‘darkest’ moment of his life. Through the USC Schwarzenegger Institute and partner organizations, the political leader is fostering an environment of peace and dialogue. His institutes also hosted a public policy debate titled “Terminating Hate: Breaking the Cycle of Extremism.” Holocaust Museum L.A. CEO Beth Kean mentioned that ‘The First Award of Courage’ recognizes Schwarzenegger’s efforts in using his credibility and platform to speak the truth. She added, “Arnold, by speaking out publicly, embodies our museum’s essence of inspiring humanity through truth.” For years, Schwarzenegger wanted to make a bigger impact by becoming President of the USA.

Even during the 2016 presidential election, Arnold Schwarzenegger expressed his desire to run against Donald Trump. However, the American Constitution bars him from running for the esteemed post as he is not a ‘natural-born citizen.’ The Terminator added, “If I’d been born in America, I would’ve run. Because now? This was a very good time to get in the race.”
