Right after Chris Bumstead’s brother-in-law, Iain Valliere, announced his retirement, the 34-year-old, Brett Wilkin also shattered the hope of many bodybuilding fans. Winning the 2022 Bigman Weekend Pro, Wilkin was the very first bodybuilder to qualify for the 2023 Mr. Olympia. However, due to some digestive difficulties, he could not take part in the contest.
Wilkin’s intense workout sessions have always enamored the fitness world, including the four times Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler. Due to this, the former Mr. Olympia publicly announced how heartbroken he had been without Wilkin’s participation in 2023 Mr. Olympia. However, Wilkin has now disclosed his comeback by posting other intense workout videos.

Not just simple 5 plates, but Wilkin was recently seen training with knee wraps and bands, making his workout session quite intense. On top of that, The Butcher, who is known for his voiced fitness sessions, also found himself following the same trend as exercises. In the caption of his post, he also refers to his return to his usual grind. He wrote, “Back on my Bull$h*t…”

Moreover, Wilkin also pointed out how his intense workout also made him shout out loud. Because of that, his voice might have gone. And so, he wrote, “Might have lost my voice today, I wonder why.” Some of his fans, however, pointed out that this was not the only time he had lost his voice.

Almost all of the fitness world was stunned by such a powerful video by Brett Wilkin. One of the fans suggested how they get motivated by Brett, they said, “Brett taught me what intensity is.” Someone else reminded the fitness world that, unlike last time, 2024 would not go out of his hands, “No messing around this 2024.”
Yet another fan boosted Wilkin’s motivation, “great job, amazing brother.” While another fan pointed out that his heavy workout sessions might have taken his voice before, “I don’t believe it’s the first time you’ve lost your voice from this sport and likely will not be your last!” Someone else also commented, “Finally im so happy today the king of noiceses is Back big heavy lifts wait for crazy leg day vid.”

It is not easy to cope with a failure that was not judged based on one’s merit but because of circumstantial difficulties. Yet Brett Wilkin did not lose motivation, instead, he portrays a better and improved form which is getting ready for the upcoming Mr. Olympia.
