Wiedenbach goes on Instagram with the caption, Here is why taking Ozempic will not help you build the body you want.” Maik says, “Ozempic, the magic bullet for weight loss. No, it’s not. It’s not, and I will tell you why.” He enunciates the reasons why celebs and youngsters are consuming it as an excuse for weight loss and how it has become an addiction. Ozempic, a type-2 diabetes drug, is being sold like any other medicine. As Maik quotes, “One, people do not change their lifestyle; they are just using a hunger retardant, which at some point will wear off or get off or whatever, but they are not eating properly, not learning how to count the macros of training.”

Moreover, he goes on to speak about the negatives of this diabetes drug, which should be prescribed to diabetes patients, but somehow the youth and celebrities are becoming the victims of it. Wiedenbach quotes, “We don’t really know what kind of weight was lost because we see like okay. This much weight was lost, but was it muscle or fat? And there’s a good chance that it was muscle because these don’t train, right? They just use a hunger retardant and eat less, which creates a catabolic environment, which means muscle loss.” Celebs like Khloe, Tracy Morgan, and Chelsea are unable to differentiate between muscle and fat loss.

Additionally, the personal trainer quotes, “So now they’re actually not getting leaner. The body fat percentage actually increases, and if they get off, God willing, their metabolism is much slower, and they blow up like a tick. So without the change in diet, lifestyle, and training, it’s just not gonna work. Sorry.” Thus, Wiedenbach concludes the video by adding a very crucial point: there has to be a shift in diet, lifestyle, or training; until that time, they cannot wear it off. Moreover, many celebrities have commented on this drug usage. They have come out in the open about how they consume it and whether or not they actually do!

Chelsea Handler admitted to the use of the Type-2 diabetes drug in a podcast, ‘Call her daddy.’ She admitted her anti-aging doctor prescribed her the drug Semaglutide, which is just another name for Ozempic. As she says, “I’m not on it anymore. That’s too irresponsible,” Handler clarified. “I’m an irresponsible drug user, but I’m not gonna take a diabetic drug.”

Moreover, in January 2023, the Kardashian addressed one of her Instagram commenters who claimed that she was on Ozempic, and she responded by saying, “Let’s not discredit my years of working out. Thus she added, “I get up five days a week at 6 a.m. to train. Please stop with your assumptions. I guess New Year still means mean people.”
