During his time at the Pat McAfee Show recently, among many other topics, Schwarzenegger reflected upon his time as the Governor. Talking about what motivated him to fight against pollution and global warming, Schwarzenegger shared an interesting and shocking stat. He started by stating, “It’s one thing to make the laws, It’s another thing to make people understand the laws that you pass.”

Continuing further, he said, “There’s 7 million people that die every year of pollution. So we can do better than that. So let’s get rid of pollution. Let’s get rid of fossil fuels. There’s no reason why people have to die of cancer because of all of that stuff. So you know, it was like, work, work, work the whole time.”

Back when ‘The Austrian Oak’ stepped foot in America, he had to work a lot of different jobs to make ends meet. However, with time and hard work, Schwarzenegger made his first million through real estate. Coming from a small village in Austria, Schwarzenegger knows how tough it can be to make money.

So when Schwarzenegger discovered that the majority of American working adults despised their jobs, he was shocked. “When you read that 78% of the American people hate their jobs, now… think about that,” Schwarzenegger said while appearing on the Jay Shetty Podcast. “I mean, that must be so depressing,” said the former governor of California.
