Not everyone can afford to hire a personal trainer and a professional coach to make a good diet plan and a training routine. After being associated with the fitness community for quite a while now, Thor actor Chris Hemsworth took it upon himself to improve this situation. Over the years, through his dedication and determination, Hemsworth has built a muscular and athletic physique. He has successfully transformed his physique multiple times for his roles in movies. Through his years of experience, Hemsworth recently decided to bring about a change in the fitness community and to help his viewers and the general public.

Chris Hemsworth launched his own fitness app, ‘Centr’, a while ago. Since then, there has been a mixed reaction from the crowd about the quality of the workouts and the assistance provided by Hemsworth. Thanks to his renowned name in showbiz as well as the fitness industry, Hemsworth did manage to sell out his app subscriptions in no time. In a recent Instagram post, however, Hemsworth could be seen getting into a hardcore workout as he teased the introduction of something new in the app.

With a whopping net worth of $130 million, Hemsworth has ensured to leave a lasting legacy for himself both in the bodybuilding community and the entertainment sector. As for his new venture, Hemsworth revealed in an interview back in 2019: “I started Centr in 2019 with a vision to share my health, wellness, and fitness experience with a broader community.”

In a recently posted Instagram reel that was uploaded to Centr’s account, Hemsworth could be seen in a body-crushing workout, indulging in cardiovascular activities using ropes and performing lateral raises and bicep curls with resistance tubes. The video shows him performing exercises for his abdominal muscles. The reason for all this is probably some new feature in the app or something else that will be released soon, as the caption of the Instagram post read, “More ways to experience total well-being with Centr. Full reveal coming next week.”

Despite being a sold-out app, Centr still got multiple complaints and criticism from the audience as well as fellow creators. One bodybuilder turned YouTuber who called out Hemsworth was Derek, who has a YouTube channel by the name of ‘More Plates More Dates.’

The reason behind Derek’s complaints with ‘Centr’ app

Derek is one of the few content creators in the fitness industry who insists on bodybuilders and influencers being open about their steroid usage in order to ensure that people don’t create unrealistic expectations when looking at their transformations. He frequently makes videos calling out people for lying about their ‘natty status.’ One of the entities that Derek has called out previously is Hemsworth. Revealing his take on the ‘Centr’ app, Derek admitted that even though the workouts mentioned on the app are effective, “You’re not going to look like a f***ing Chris out there.”

Continuing further, Derek advised ‘Thor’ to “Just be a bit more transparent….” The only problem that Derek had with the app was that Chris should have been clear about the fact that using a specific diet or a workout won’t transform the subscribers into someone like Hemsworth. “When I gain 30 pounds of muscle for a role, it’s because of my gear, not because of my f***ing kettlebell swings,” the YouTuber added.
