This 44-year-old HGTV host started her career under the spotlight in 2013. After winning Design Star, a televised competition to pick a host for the cable network, Tiffany Brooks started hosting The Most Embarrassing Rooms in America.?While the show lasted only four episodes, Brooks became a regular on HGTV. However, by 2016, the interior designer was struggling with her health and fitness.

While the talented interior designer didn’t have body image issues, she had some major health issues. Tiffany Brooks also didn’t have a diet that supported her health. She often lived on a diet of junk food which compounded her health and weight-related issues. In 2016, however, Brooks decided to make a positive change.

The incredible fitness journey of Tiffany Brooks

On September 11, Tiffany Brooks uploaded three pictures on Instagram. The first photograph was a poster for HGTV with the words?“HGTV Smart Home 2016” printed on it. The following two pictures were selfies. The latter pictures showed the transformation the interior designer had undergone. “Monday motivation to keep glowing up!”?the 44-year-old captioned the post.

Brooks explained her glow-up.?“That?s me 70lbs ago, in 2016,”?wrote Brooks. While Brooks felt happy in her personal life and professional life, she faced health issues.?“I was happy, beautiful, kicking ass in my career, but not healthy,”?wrote the television personality. So she focused on improving her health.

Brooks started by developing healthy habits.?“I made water a priority,”?wrote the 44-year-old. The HGTV host?“ate 5 healthy meals/mini meals a day vs. Being on bulls**t once a day.”?After embracing a proper diet and fitness, Brooks gradually saw improvements in her physique.?“Now I?m more confident, collected, and feel like I can do anything, look younger than I did 10 years ago,” she added. With her newfound confidence, Brooks thrived.

The interior designer’s pursuit of success

While Tiffany Brooks won Design Star, her first show didn’t get the exposure the interior designer had hoped for. However, with her talent and hard work, Brooks has appeared and continues to appear on several HGTV productions. The push to embrace fitness also coincided with the major moments in her career.

From 2017, Brooks regularly started appearing in HGTV productions, including TV specials. She currently hosts HGTV?s?$50k Three Ways?and Smart Home. Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge?is her latest show. In 2021, Tiffany Brook debuted on the prestigious AD 100 list. Compiled by Architectural Digest, the list recognizes the top 100 most influential designers and architects.
