One such incident that recently happened involved Alex Eubank.
Fitness influencer and social media entity Alex Eubank recently fasted for too long. As a result of this, he unfortunately got hospitalized. In a recent podcast on Generation Iron, bodybuilder IFBB Pro Victor Martinez gave his two cents on the incident that Eubank went through. Let’s take a look at what Martinez thinks of this.
Victor Martinez bashes Alex Eubank’s decision

Alex Eubank is a renowned influencer who posts content related to fitness and lifting on his YouTube and Instagram. After gaining a massive following during the lockdown, Eubank has a whopping fan base of more than 2 million followers on Instagram. Among his many fitness challenges and training videos, Eubank decided to do a fasting challenge in his YouTube video.

The challenge ended in a bad way as Eubank got hospitalized. While discussing this incident on a podcast with Generation Iron, bodybuilder Victor Martinez bashed the YouTuber for this decision. He stated, “So what does he influence? Get yourself freaking sick and go to a hospital? Maybe you wanted to connect to God or something? I don’t know.” Adding to this, he talked about his experience of fasting and stated that he once fasted for more than 48 hours. “Yeah, it was long but I wasn’t of course working out,” he said.
This is not the first time that Eubank has been called out for his actions. Earlier this year, IFBB Pro Greg Doucette made a video in which he asked Eubank to come clean about his anabolic usage.

Greg Doucette’s comments on Alex Eubank
Greg Doucette made a video back in May where he explained how lying about your ‘natty status’ can lead to the viewers and fans creating fake expectations in their minds. Doucette frequently makes content related to this and calls out such entities.
“One thing I can promise you is that If you’re If you are honest and tell people I’m doing this, at least people would understand. Much better than lying and pretending that you’re natural, deceiving the fans and viewers,” Doucette said in the video.
