Thanks to his ventures into various realms, Arnold Schwarzenegger has friends and connections in almost every field and industry at this point. Unfortunately, he recently lost a dear friend that he made during his time in American politics. While Schwarzenegger has been open previously about the sad reality of loved ones passing away as he ages, another name that got added to this list is Dianne Feinstein.

Arnold’s ex-wife Maria Shriver was also a close friend of Feinstein. As she passed away on 29th September due to natural causes, Maria took to her Instagram and paid her tributes to Feinstein a short while after Arnold wrote a heartfelt message on his Twitter account.

Dianne Feinstein achieved a historic milestone as California’s first female senator, serving six consecutive terms, which remains a record for women in the Senate. Feinstein served as the Senator of California from 1992 to present. She was the longest-serving female US Senator in history. Unfortunately, her health was declining for the past few months and the dreadful news about her demise came on Friday morning. Paying her respects to Feinstein, the ex-wife of a bodybuilding veteran thanked her for serving the nation as she ensured the smooth running of the city.

After stepping into American politics in 2003, Schwarzenegger served as the Governor of California for two terms. Despite being from different sides, and having a different political ideology, Schwarzenegger admits that he admired and respected Feinstein.
