The post emphasized strictening the laws and holding criminals accountable for their actions. In recent times, the city of Los Angeles has witnessed a surge in ‘smash and grab’ robberies. It involves breaking into shops and looting their inventory. Apart from affecting business owners, it also raises concerns about the safety of the general public. Caruso, a businessman, and philanthropist, decided to speak about this through social media. He revealed that after having a word with many small business owners, he got to know that the families feel unsafe in the streets and disheartened by the lack of accountability for criminals.

Caruso wrote, “We must elevate their voices, bringing Angelenos together to find a new approach so merchants and shoppers alike are fully protected, criminals are held accountable, and our economy thrives.” Reposting this as her Instagram Story, the wife of Hollywood star Chris Pratt, Katherine, reacted by stating, “So sad LA is such a mess.”

The couple’s initiatives promote inclusive education

Chris and Katherine teamed up with Special Olympics on the UN’s International Day of Education to promote inclusive education. Pratt has been involved in philanthropic acts previously, as well, and did not think twice before signing up for the campaign this time as well. 

He mentioned the same in a tweet some time back. His tweet read, “As parents, we want every child to have the right to an equitable, inclusive education. Sadly, this right is not a reality for all.”
