However, the actor has now come to the realization that one of his rituals is actually unhealthy. In a recent episode of the Pardon My Take podcast, the Ted actor openly discussed his thoughts on early morning habits.

The hosts asked a question to the Departed star which is not about his films. “Are you surprised how often your uh workout schedule goes viral?” to which Marky Mark responded first speaking about his apparel brand Municipal and a fun fact about his routine. He disclosed that he got a pair of shoes that had his entire schedule written on the insole.
The second host immediately added, “I’ve got it right here it says that you wake up every day at 2 30 a.m.” Wahlberg admitted he did that only when he slept at 6:30 P.M. “That was if I go to bed tonight at 6:30 I’ll wake up at 2:30. I get eight hours of sleep always,” he revealed.
The Italian Job actor however confessed that it wasn’t his routine. “That was when I was doing something very specific.” He further clarified, “The way I was training, I realized that all that stuff was not good.” Earlier the actor was seen taking a cold bath apparently for the health benefits it offered.
The 52-year-old’s cold water plunge
Ice water baths are quite prevalent in the Nordic countries and are regarded as good for health. The cold water plunges have become a trend of late on the internet with fitness influencers jumping into tanks with chilled water. Mark Wahlberg also wanted to try it out.

On a hot sunny day, he plunged into a cold water tank. He could be seen visibly affected by the low degrees of the water. “I thought Boston was cold,” he captioned the post.

Even in the fifties, the American actor hits the gym enthusiastically. Though his 4:00 A.M workout schedule is often questioned by netizens, they appreciate his ripped physique on social media.
