There’s a champion who has stood the test of time, standing tall against adversity. Not one but many challenges crept up in his life, from scarcity to medical issues, but the relentless mass monster proved himself eight consecutive times on the Olympia stage. It is also bewildering that bodybuilding wasn’t the athlete’s first career choice. But once he found his mojo, he became invincible, with no competitor in sight who could challenge his size and conditioning. Fans even today bow down to his legacy.

Fitness has become second nature to Ronnie Coleman, and he pursues it like clockwork. His recent workout post on Instagram elicited waves of admiration from followers.

Taking to Instagram, the King posted a video wearing Youngla’s outfit in bright yellow. He was training his shoulders with some dumbbell exercises. The lines on his forehead reflected the intensity of the exercise as sweat dripped from his body. “It’s 108 degrees in Metroflex, but that doesn’t me from getting a good workout,” informed Coleman while promoting his collaboration with Youngla. Further, he offered a discount to his followers, adding, “Drop coming out 08-29-23. Check them out at the link in my bio. That link is youngla.com. Be sure to use my code “Ronnie” for a 15% discount.” The message was simple but reflected years of hard work. The King is unbothered by the heat or cold; work must go on.

The intensity of his workout is surprising because of the battles the eight-time Olympia winner has waged against his fledgling health. The bodybuilding giant went through multiple surgeries to treat his herniated disk. So much so that the GOAT of bodybuilding was in constant pain. He needs crutches or a wheelchair for movement. However, the fitness icon has controlled his pain to manageable levels through stem cell therapy. From the looks of his post, he was thriving. Moreover, the ex-cop reduced his pain medication from 30 mg. to 15 mg with the aid of the treatment. The vision of Coleman working in high temperatures made fans go gaga over the behemoth. Netizens flooded the comment section with heaps of praise.

Awestruck fans hail the King

The 59-year-old veteran bodybuilder inspires all who think age or health conditions are limiting factors. The athlete raised the standard everywhere, winning 26 IFBB pro titles. Fans remembered this enduring heritage. They wrote, “If anyone doesn’t respect Ronnie Coleman, that man is the definition of strength; even at his age, he’s still going strong. If Ronnie doesn’t inspire you, I don’t know who else will. There is no excuse.”

Finally, an internet user highlighted the everlasting star power of the King, saying, “Legend then, a legend now. Salut.” Ronnie Coleman may have gotten used to these words of compliment, but fans do not get tired of showing their love and support for the iconic sportsperson. When Coleman lost to Jay Cutler in 2006, the world wept with the bodybuilding maestro, including Cutler. It was the end of a golden eight-year period in bodybuilding that unfurled a new age of monstrosity.
