Besides becoming the Chief Action Officer for Netflix and helping people with his daily fitness newsletter, Arnie is releasing a new book on October 10. However, days before Schwarzenegger’s book release, the?bodybuilding?icon made a surprising confession.?

Arnold Schwarzenegger sat for an exclusive interview with People magazine before the release of?Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life.?During the interview, the bodybuilding icon talked about his family, his current relationship with ex-wife Maria Shriver, and his girlfriend, Heather Milligan, whom he has been dating for over a decade. While speaking about his girlfriend, the 76-year-old made a startling admission about meeting her clients.

Arnold Schwarzenegger finds Heather Milligan’s clients too impressive

Arnold Schwarzenegger met his girlfriend, Heather Milligan, in 2012 after shoulder surgery. The Terminator star needed to rehab his shoulder for the then-upcoming Escape Plan with Sylvester Stallone. So Schwarzenegger went to her clinic for treatment. A decade later, Arnie occasionally visits his girlfriend’s clinic to meet her.

In 2012, Schwarzenegger’s doctor told him that Milligan works with athletes from different sports. Athletes from the NFL, NBA, UFC, and other sports still visit Milligan’s clinic. Arnold Schwarzenegger enjoys chatting with them.?“I schmooze with them while they’re getting therapy,” he said.

Schwarzenegger, an athlete who conquered bodybuilding in the 1970s, enjoys being around other great athletes.?“I admire them, they’re great athletes,”?he said. However, he also made a surprising statement.?“A lot of them make me feel like a little chicken,”?Arnie told People. Despite being a legendary athlete of his time, Schwarzenegger has arguably no ego. The Hollywood legend also praised Milligan.

Milligan shares a lot in common with the bodybuilding legend

While speaking about?his 48-year-old girlfriend, Schwarzenegger explained the qualities that attracted him. The Austrian Oak has been ambitious since childhood. Heather Milligan is no different.?“I think the world of her. I love that she?s into working. She?s clearly independent. She just is driven as hell,”?Schwarzenegger said.

Arnold Schwarzenegger had a passion for his work. Whether it was bodybuilding, acting, or being governor. Similarly, Milligan’s passion for her work attracted Arnie. The physical therapist often works with athletes who are champions in their respective sports. Even Schwarzenegger’s surgeon praised her in 2012.?“Any athlete, I always send them to her,”?he told Arnie.
