Bodybuilding veteran and fitness influencer Kali Muscle promoted a particular brand of water in his latest Instagram reel. While the former enhanced bodybuilder is often critical of the products he reviews in these short videos, this time it was different. “(I) found the best water in the world,” said the influencer after picking up a bottle and flipping it mid-air.

Kali Muscle then showed the label to the camera to reveal the brand name, Erewhon. Muscle even acknowledged that while he often shows the thumbs down to the products he reviews, he tried the water and loved it. The bodybuilding enthusiast also said that the company is an “LA establishment,” and the water comes from Shasta Springs in LA. However, fans were skeptical.

The veteran bodybuilder said that the water has been tested and doesn’t contain any harmful impurities. However, the bodybuilding community didn’t question the brand but Kali Muslce’s motives. They speculated that the video review might be sponsored. That’s because the bodybuilder has made some questionable claims in the past.

Besides calling out brands, Kali Muscle has also gone on extreme fasting cycles. During these fasts, he has drank nothing but water. He has also tried extreme elimination diets, like eating only watermelons or pineapples for days, and claimed they may have health benefits. His diets have also drawn the criticism of bodybuilding veterans like Greg Doucette.

So, the fans of the heart attack survivor were skeptical if Kali Muscle got paid to promote the brand. The bodybuilding community didn’t beat around the bush either and asked Klai Muscle if he hid the fact that the video review was a paid sponsorship.

Kali Muscle answered the bodybuilding community’s question

“Kali (muscle), please be honest with us. This was a very obvious advertisement, meaning they pay you for sponsorship,” stated one follower. “How much (did) they pay you, Kali (Muscle)?’ asked another fan. “Looks like a paid endorsement,” speculated a third follower. However, the bodybuilding veteran said he didn’t get paid, and it was an “honest review.”

However, not everyone mistrusted the fitness influencer. “Came a long way from Hyphy Mud,” said one fan who remembers when Kali Muscle used to promote his protein supplement brand. “I’ve had it that water. It’s perfect,” commented one fan who agreed with Kali Muscle.

Since Kali Muscle has a history of doing and saying questionable things, the bodybuilding community often finds it hard to trust the formerly enhanced bodybuilder.
