4X Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead is a popular bodybuilder. The 28 years old has recently shared a video and disclosed his Off-season diet. Canadian bodybuilder starts his day with a simple breakfast with shakes and avoids anything heavy in the morning. His diet plan will shock you after knowing that Mr. Olympia 2023 is around the corner.
Since entering bodybuilding CBUM has been unstoppable. The Classic Physique powerhouse taking a high-calorie diet. Chris Bumstead revealed his Off-season full-day diet on his YouTube channel.

His morning meal starts with a Shake, as he mentioned he doesn’t like to have a heavy breakfast. After having a shake he likes to have sprouted wheat bread with almond butter. His first meal includes 797 calories. His second meal added 718 calories to his diet. 3 meal of the day includes chicken, white rice, and olive oil, it contains 690 calories and 50g protein. Furthermore, he added “I will try not to eat chicken every meal every day, so I’ve been having different types of protein”. He said ‘I was having eggs for a while but I cut those out. I was eating a lot more fish for a while ”.
His diet plan is a lot different than other bodybuilders. He’s going to compete in the upcoming Mr. Olympia. And he almost cut out the chicken from his meal. He said
“One chicken meal maybe, but I went a few weeks without eating chicken. Giving myself a detox because I eat so much of it. It’s such mass-produced meat I don’t really trust that, It’s like good to go all the time so swapping it up Bison I found meats that are less popular like bison and elk gamey meats like that are less likely to be massed produced fed a bunch of that”. He ended his sentence by saying that hopefully this is making me healthier but who knows you’re old and you die. Chris has a green shake usually at night and in the morning, five times a week. he doesn’t have this shake every day. As Mr. Olympia 2023 is ahead he’s been trying his best to be in shape.ADVERTISEMENT

Chris advice not to use toxic supplements
He also stated that he’s going with his top ten exercises to enlarge his muscles before the contest. He has chosen a diverse mix of actions, targeting each muscle group with compound exercises. According to Canadian Bodybuilder, this would make him as muscular as possible for the event.

While talking about workouts he accepted, that he’s been taking Trenbolone for years ago. He accepted that If he saw a decline in his health from performance-enhancing drugs, he would step away from the contest. Chris advised his fans to avoid steroids due to their toxicity. He strongly believes in getting good sleep, good rest for recovery, and eating healthy food.
