After spending a long vacation in Aspen, five-time Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead is finally back home. He is planning on staying home and not traveling for a while with his baby and quest for a sixth Olympia title on the way. Bumstead has revealed how he is all set to step into the gym and have proper workouts after a long off-season break.

In a recent post on Bumstead’s official Instagram, he gave fans a glimpse of his back workout, where he was seen working on his lats, indicating the fact that he is all set to follow a great workout regime for his off-season for Mr. Olympia.

In the post, the five-time Mr. Olympia was doing semi-supinated pull-downs and chest-supported dumbbell rows, calling this his “Sunday Superset.” He did a set of ten reps for the semi-supinated pull-down. This exercise primarily focuses on making your lats stronger. A semi-supinated pull-down also helps to improve your posture and boost your confidence, training your lats much better than the traditional lat pull-down.

Bumstead also engaged in a set of eight reps of the chest-supported dumbbell rows, an exercise that isolates your back muscles and helps you use your pure back strength. Chest-supported dumbbell rows remove any strain from your lower back as well. 

The five-time Mr. Olympia is now not traveling for a few weeks and is all set to train and defend his title for the sixth time. He indicated this through his post and wrote, “Very much looking forward to kicking my own a** in the gym and not being a Skinny B.

While Bumstead is all set to begin training now, even during his vacation, he didn’t leave the gym behind.

Even while on vacation, the five-time Mr. Olympia never backed down from hitting the gym. He was always ready to train, even amidst the scenic beauty of Aspen. Earlier, CBum had shared a reel of dumbbell pressing with a one-fifty-pound dumbbell. He captioned the video, “Almost lost that last rep, but I was like hell no I ain’t being a skinny b*tch today,” while pushing his limits to achieve greatness regardless of being tired.

Earlier, Bumstead indulged in rigorous exercises like single-arm lat pull downs, incline dumbbell presses, and a challenging set of pull-ups even while on vacation during his off-season break.

As Bumstead is all set to train for his sixth Olympia title, expectations are running high.
