Despite being from two different eras, the duo has mutual respect and love for each other. While training together at Gold’s Gym in Venice, Arnold even admitted that Coleman is kind of a perfect training partner while remembering his old dear friend, Franco Columbu. Amid the clanks of weights and sweat-drenched walls, Arnold and Coleman continued to hype each other up during their workout to keep the fire burning.

Schwarzenegger, who himself had an extraordinary bicep peak back in the day, appreciated Coleman’s bicep peak while he was doing machine preacher curls. Arnold also stated that while his other competitors have lost their precious muscles, Coleman still manages to maintain his muscle mass as much as possible. “Look at those bumps sticking out here. Oh, look at that. Everybody’s has disappeared, yet it’s all still there from the day of the Mr. Olympia competition,” Arnold said. Agreeing to this, Coleman revealed, “I’m trying to hold on to it.”
