The ‘Austrian Oak’, known for his 57-inch chest, topped the list of athletes with great chests in the bodybuilding arena, per Barbend. In the latest edition of his newsletter, the bodybuilding legend has some important takeaways on building a massive chest.

The newsletter, Arnold’s Pump Club, has kept the spirits of fitness enthusiasts high since its inception. The growing village of Arnie often interacts with the ‘Governator’ to understand various bodybuilding techniques. Following the custom, Schwarzenegger shared a question from a fan in his newsletter. “Arnold You told us about the stretch and the flex but my question is how din you make your chest so big,” wrote a curious Arnold’s Pump Club subscriber.

The Terminator icon has some points to include for the best chest routine and the number of reps found ground in his reply. Revealing the common mistake bodybuilders often commit, Arnie noted, “They put the weight back after 10 reps and ask me how they did and I say You aren’t finished” and they look confused.

Schwarzenegger complains that many athletes do not realize that intensity increases growth. “When you guys pick your weights, always remember, it should be hard those last 2-3 reps. Not impossible. But hard as hell,” he further emphasized. It is now evident how pushing through the final reps can help muscle growth, as one of the greatest bodybuilders suggests. However, The Predator’s iconic sculpture was a matter of criticism during his early film days.
