BASIL AND HER NEW FITNESS WHEEL The little tortoise in debate goes by the name of Basil. Her parent, Sarah recently got her a fitness wheel in order to ensure that the tortoise completes its daily step goal. In the caption of her TikTok video, Sarah wrote, “She’s committed to fitness.” In the clip, she teaches Basil how to use the new fitness wheel she bought for him, and this intuitive turtle picks up on it very quickly. The video went on to defy the age-old story that we all heard in our childhood about turtles being slow. As Basil slowly got the hang of it, she went fast on the wheel. Interestingly, when he lifted the barbell and started doing squats, the doggo diligently followed him on that. But, the late 1970s saw Joe Weider come up with a grand plan and create the Mr. Olympia contest.
