While his father-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is known for his subtle and dry humor, Chris Pratt is the opposite. The Parks and Recreation actor is known for his over-the-top comedy. In fact part of what made Pratt a perfect fit for MCU’s Star Lord was his comedic prowess. Despite this, sometimes the bodybuilding legend‘s son-in-law’s humor can be too over the top to be palatable for everyone. However, this time even his wife and mother-in-law didn’t know how to feel about his latest joke.

Earlier today, one of the most popular Chrises in Hollowood set his sites on the Met Gala. Like every year, celebrities walked up the Met Gala steps in extravagant and exotic outfits. While some dressed up in avant-grade fashion, others, like Jared Leto and Doja Cat, wore cat costumes. However, no one envisioned a “Met Gala look,” like Chris Pratt.

Chris Pratt’s Met Gala look confused everyone

The Guardians of the Galaxy actor uploaded a picture of his left toe on Instagram. He described it as his Met Gala look in the caption. Unsurprisingly not everyone found his humor funny. Many fans were left bewildered by the closeup look of The Terminal List actor’s toe.

However, the son-in-law of Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t stop at one photograph. Shortly after posting the image, he uploaded a bunch of Instagram stories of people who attended this year’s, Met Gala. The actor started by sharing his toe picture and captioned it, “Christoepher Pratt.” Next on the list was Doja Cat. However, Pratt called her “Toeja Cat” after editing his toe on Doja Cat’s face.

He uploaded similarly edited pictures of other celebrities on his Instagram stories like “Jared Latoe”, “Toe Lipa” and more. “LITERALLY called 911 @footnanny and have temporarily muted this account for the sake of my well being,” commented his confused and terrified wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger. Maria Shriver seemed equally confused as she simply commented: “What is this.”

However, unlike his son-in-law, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife shared memorable throwback images from the 2001 Met Gala.

Maria Shriver relived her Met Gala memories

“Since it’s the first Monday in May and the Met Gala is underway, I thought I would share some photos from when I attended… all the way back in 2001!” wrote Shriver. She uploaded four throwback images where she wore an elegant satin dress. However, one of those four images captured is what made her time at Met Gala truly special.

In the image, Maria Shriver walked the red carpet hand in hand with her parents, Eunice Kennedy Shriver and Sargent Shriver. “Not only did I get to wear this beautiful dress, but I got to attend with both my parents,” wrote the 67-year-old. Her cousin Caroline also features in one of the images.
