In the recent edition of?Arnold?s Pump Club,?the star shed light on the significance of blueberries for the human body and heart.?

Arnie revealed that blueberries hold great potential for minimizing the risks of heart attacks and endothelial functioning. The observations are particularly essential for him because of his?ordeal with a serious heart problem?called bicuspid aortic valve. Having undergone multiple heart surgeries, Arnie is now mindful of his heart?s health.?

According to the newsletter, the 75-year-old elucidated a piece of life-saving advice, white titling that section “The Heart Saver.??He claimed that adding more blue foods to the diet can improve the heart?s ability to pump more blood. Moreover, Arnie backed his revelation with the findings of a study. It suggests that ?blueberries could help reduce the likelihood of suffering a heart attack.?

An interesting revelation about the benefits of adding blueberries to the diet was also pointed out. The former athlete added in his newsletter that adults consuming supplemental powder yielded from dried blueberries have observed improvements in their endothelial and cognitive functions. The functioning of blood vessels enhances by lower calcification, decreased risks of cardiovascular problems, and also better blood flow.

For years, he suffered from a valve condition, a bicuspid aortic valve, and had to undergo a series of surgeries, as recent as 2020, for its treatment. Sadly, the condition is genetic, and he inherited it from his mother, Aurelia.

As per sources, his mother also suffered from the same condition. On August 2, 1998, his mother passed away due to a heart problem. ?My mother passed away from the same valve problem that I had,? the star athlete revealed.?Shockingly,?she had denied the surgery.
