The Mr. Olympia championship is one of the most prestigious and decorated events in bodybuilding. Several elite athletes begin their training and dieting, following the right pattern in order to win the title for themselves, and it gets frustrating when their hard work is not rewarded well enough. We all remember how the controversy escalated in this year’s competition for alleged faulty lighting. However, as this bodybuilding icon says, you must demand what’s yours!

While winning the Olympia title itself is enough of a recognition for a bodybuilder, sometimes, they complain about not getting what they truly deserve and leaving with next to nothing for all those months of sacrifice. Veteran bodybuilder, Lee Priest gives advice to those athletes who are only complaining and not taking any action against it.

Bodybuilding legend Lee Priest took to his official Instagram account, @leepriestofficial72, and shared a video where he is seen talking about how several athletes tend to blame the light, sound, and other things in Olympia. However, Priest rebuked the athletes for not standing in unity and demanding what is theirs.

Lee Priest says,Drop your fuc*ing egos. stop thinking, if that person’s out I can move up. Think about the collective… Everyone in the Mr. Olympia should get paid.” Well, as per his videos, he even talks about how he was lied to about the changing structure of the prize money this year.

The 51-year-old talks about how even the prize money is very low as per the effort that is being put in, and well, only the organization cannot be blamed for it. He himself got suspended for speaking up openly about his use of performance-enhancing drugs.
