Eight times, Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman is one of the most respected and renowned names in the realm of bodybuilding. Famous for his insane superhuman lifts, Coleman still lives in the hearts of countless fans. Before becoming a bodybuilder, though, Coleman served as a police officer for 14 years of his life.

However, what would come as an even bigger surprise would be the fact that he built a physique so enormous that he did not get into any fights during his whole career. Weighing in at 302 lbs, no one dared to challenge ‘The King.’ Let’s take a look at the time when Coleman talked about this in a podcast.

Ronnie Coleman, who is a retired police officer, served as a police officer in Arlington, Texas from 1989 until 2000 and as a reserve officer until 2003. Even though it was a bit difficult, Coleman did manage to balance his bodybuilding career as well as his career as a police officer at the same time for quite a while. His huge build came in handy as it helped him stay away from fights. He revealed earlier in a podcast that he never got into a fight during his whole career.

“When you 320 LBS and you show up in that uniform…it’s instant peace! There were a lot of officers that were smaller than me that had fights..especially girls! They had fights all the time,” Coleman revealed during a resurfaced video that appeared on YouTube shorts.
