He was also referred to as ?The Shadow? for his low-key training and then mind-blowing performance in the competitions. The 61-year-old is still a famous name in this sport as a legend even after retirement.
Dorian is a social media sensation with his training and gym videos. He is also very vocal about his training process. He, who liked to engage in high-intensity training, discussed over-training and under-recovering in a recent Instagram post.

The recent Instagram post already has 14K likes and is a video of Dorian?s training process throughout the years. He captioned the video saying ?Overtraining and under recovering! You need to give your body stress that it?s not used to in order to get a response.?

He further explains, ?If you train too much then your progress will come to a halt. It?s not possible to train with high intensity for too long, 45 minutes is enough.? Dorian further explains the 18-month training process and says, ?I competed in World Championships training after 18 months which is pretty much unheard of.??He could do this because of focused training.
Yates further wrote, ?Go to the gym, train? and get out. Each minute of my training was incredibly intense but with purpose and focus.?
