Discipline is one of the most integral parts of being successful in life, especially in bodybuilding. This was recently proven by Kali Muscle who was asked this question by a fan and he answered candidly in a YouTube short video. After facing a fatal heart attack in 2021 and surviving, along with a lifestyle change, Kali Muscle is no stranger to discipline. Let’s see where Muscle gets his discipline from.
Kali Muscle on being disciplined
Since his heart attack, Muscle has been advocating for an all-fruit diet and now he has started a spree of canceling food brands that have toxic ingredients. However, the change from a regular diet to a raw fruit diet is a massive step, something that not a lot of people have the discipline for. In a recent video, he was asked a question about where his discipline comes from.

Muscle narrated a short and personal snippet from his childhood, “My older brother rest in peace; he would iron his clothes every morning; he would put his clothes, line his face, shave his face every day, line his hair up.” He also, “He saw that my stepfather gets up every morning to go work. See my mother get up and go to work. Where I grew up was disciplined. Just raised with discipline. Everything should be on cruise control.”
So it is pretty clear that his core values of discipline came from his family members and that is why he could survive a fatal heart attack and change his life for the better. He was always sticking to his advocacy about harmful food ingredients that can cause cancer. However, the funny thing is the bodybuilding champion who is on an all-fruit diet was not a fan of fruits in the past.

He took to his official Instagram account previously and shared how he always believed that fruits were the cause of diabetes and had extremely high sugar. Who would have thought that the man who did an all-watermelon diet thought this? Just like any other diet, his diet also sometimes included fast food while growing up.
“I grew up eating that cr*p thinking fruit was worse than that. And that’s how the world is demonizing fruit today,” he exclaimed. According to him, he believed that such a diet was better than consuming fruits and vegetables and this was one of the major reasons for the heart attack he experienced at 46.
