Mike O’Hearn shares his valuable insight on working out differently
The Titan of bodybuilding recently took to his official YouTube channel and shared a shorts video of himself training an athlete and explaining to him the importance of going off-leash. He goes on to explain how it is important to focus barely on just getting better physically; rather, the goal should be obtaining mental peace while battling with the weights in the gym. Going off-leash helps you in that state. He says, “That sets you up better than any kind of workout. When you leash off in the workout and get into a fight with the weights.”
Mike O’Hearn’s focus is not going heavy on weights; he believes that the intensity lies in the repetitions and sets you can pull off, and that is what shows the true conditioning of your body. He says, “I just want to destroy him on sets. Absolutely show him what he is capable of doing.” The Titan, taking to the ideal workout, once even shared the perfect time to incorporate dry out in the session.
Mike O’Hearn explains when you should dry out and why
Mike O’Hearn suggests that it is important to incorporate an illustrious session of dry out at the end of the program. He says, “Dry out in a perfect world is best suited for the end of a program. It’s basically called prep week.” It helps in the final stage of conditioning. However, due to the varying lengths of different people’s training programs, the dry-out time can differ.

The Titan suggests, “It should be done after, like, strength gains. After you’ve kind of finished out the function of the body of removing fat and retaining muscle, then you do a dry out to look just pristine.” However, on the contrary, he even mentioned that some athletes prefer to dry out before starting the workout. Dry out gives different results based on the time you spend performing. While a good dry-out before you begin your regime can help stimulate your metabolism, a comprehensive session after your workout can help you bring a peak to your aesthetics.
