The World?s strongest man, bodybuilding icon, and actor in ‘Game of Thrones’, Haf??r J?l?us Bj?rnsson, is a sensation in the fitness world. On 31st July 2015, he beat a 1000-year-old record made by Orm Storolfsson at the World?s Strongest Viking Competition in Norway. Since then, he has never stopped and achieved five titles along with 2015 Giants Live Viking, and 2015 Giants Live Sweden, making him the greatest Giants Live champion of all time. This was not an easy journey since the strongman also suffered a pectoral tear and a gruesome operation.

A recent YouTube video by ‘Mountain’ on his channel shows Ryan Terry and him working out in their arms. Thor is helping him with arm workouts and Terry is teaching him how to pose like a bodybuilder. Despite the recent pectoral tear, Hafthor is on a roll.

Ryan Terry and Hafthor Bjornsson get down to posing business

In the video, Ryan Terry expresses his nervousness, but Hafthor eases his nerves with friendly banter. Finally, Bjornsson discusses the various chest and back workouts they will be doing. He then requests Ryan to teach him posing. Hafthor takes on 396.832 lbs and reflects on the challenge, admitting it was not as perfect as he hoped, despite expecting a flawless bench press.

Finally, he does hit 512.5 lbs in a bench press rep and does magnificently. Even Ryan gets excited and applauds his prowess. Hafthor said, ?So, I put my breath in to keep the tension. It?s just to keep the tension you know; I feel like I?m stronger if I hold my breath in.? So, his secret to getting more tension is to hold his breath while bench pressing for as long as he can, but not for too long before he passes out.

Then it was time for Ryan to show his prowess with posing. The two bodybuilders and fitness icons opened their shirts and got ready to flex some muscles in front of the mirror. Ryan started by explaining the importance of aesthetics to Hafthor and said, ?It?s important obviously with bodybuilding to show aesthetics.??

He also talks about how if a bodybuilder was to put a mirror down their torso, they would need to show everything aesthetically and symmetrically. Hafthor is commendable since he is doing his regular workouts and even posing just after recovering from a huge operation.

The pectoral injury leaves Hafthor in the medical room

The Icelandic who is a world record-breaking strongman and also a businessman never keeps all his eggs in one basket. He is also a boxer with a personal gym at home and launched his line of clothing and nutritional supplements.

Unfortunately, setbacks happen in life and he had to go through an operation due to his pectoral injury. Hafthor tore his left pectoral muscle while attempting a bench press of 556 lbs. He came into his YouTube to educate people about his injury and to follow the road to recovery. Fans were showering him with support and wishing him good health all over social media.
