The Daily Mail UK revealed that Arnie arrived with Elan at his ex-wife Maria Shriver’s house in a Hummer. Eve Buckland, author, mentioned that the Austrian Oak, ” looked focused as he arrived at his former spouse’s home in the one-of-a-kind vehicle, which runs on vegetable oil.” Earlier, the gym fanatic had hit the Gold’s gym on an electric bike, showing his determination for fitness. Katherine, Schwarzenegger’s eldest daughter, received her father flashing a “warm smile,” with husband Chris Pratt, who donned a relaxed look. Earlier, Katherine had taken to Instagram, to post a loving message dedicated to her father. She had shared a throwback snap, where the father-daughter duo were all gleeful. Arnold Schwarzenegger has fathered five children – Katherine, Christina, Christopher, Patrick, and Joseph Baena.

Baena was conspicuously missing from all the merry-making. The real estate agent has a distinct past, as he was born to Schwarzenegger and housekeeper Mildred Baena in 1997. The Austrian Oak’s affair with Mildred was the reason for the divorce of Shriver and Schwarzenegger in 2021. Although the Hollywood actor was missing from the get-together, he too wished his father Happy Birthday on social media. Despite sharing the genes with none other than the great 7x Mr. Olympia, Baena chooses not to use the Schwarzenegger surname.

Joseph Baena respects his German Heritage

The young bodybuilding enthusiast wanted to carve out his own identity in the world of movies. Although he deeply respects his father, even learning German to pay homage to his roots, the 25-year-old does not use his papa’s family name. In an interview with Men’s Health, Baena said, “I love the word honor, and I’m very prideful in the sense that if I use my dad’s contacts or ask him for favors, I wonder what honor is that gonna bring me?” Baena continued, “When I go to auditions, they don’t know who I am, because we don’t have the same last name.”
