The former Arnold Classic champ showcased a picture of himself with a quote by Louis Pasteur, the French chemist and microbiologist known for his significant contributions to science and medicine. Moreover, Cutler’s post highlighted his chiseled, super-shredded physique.
His impressive arms and shoulders, paired with an old-school hairstyle, which by the way looked phenomenal on his overall personality. He wrote in his caption, “‘Let me tell you the secret that has led me to my goals: my strength lies solely in my tenacity.’ —Louis Pasteur.” This quote perfectly encapsulates Cutler’s journey and determination.

Cutler’s journey to becoming one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time began long before he won his first Sandow trophy. His passion for weightlifting started as a way to manage stress, but it quickly turned into a lifelong commitment. Despite his love for lifting weights, he was involved in his family’s construction business from a young age. Despite his family’s wishes, Cutler chose a different path. However, success did not come easy for him. His career’s turning point came in the late 1990s. In 1998, he was placed 11th at the Night of Champions competition. He avoided training his lower body. He revealed, “Back in the ’90s, they casted me. I cracked my kneecap, and it was just like, so they casted me.” According to him, this surgery made his appearance tilted as he mentioned that his left leg is stronger than his right leg, due to it being asymmetric.
Despite the setbacks and hardship, the bodybuilding legend’s dedication paid off. He achieved his first Mr. Olympia title in 2006 by defeating the eight-time Mr. Olympia, Ronnie Coleman. Cutler’s victory was a testament to his tenacity and hard work. He went on to win the title again in 2007. Although he couldn’t defend his title in 2008 and was defeated by Dexter Jackson.

However, Cutler made a historic comeback in 2009 and popularized a lesser-known pose, the “quad stomp”, which impressed judges and fans, leading to his victory. Additionally, he reclaimed the title and won it again in 2010. He retired in 2013.
