Likewise, another IFBB pro added his name to the list of athletes dealing with body dysmorphia. Samson Dauda recently answered a fan?s query during an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram that revealed his way of dealing with the issue.?

The 30-year-old recently took a moment to answer some of his fans? questions on Instagram wherein one of them asked him about his battle with body dysmorphia. ?Do you still feel body dysmorphia? If so how do you deal with it? Big clothes?? the query read. Dauda did not hesitate to respond with a thoughtful answer.?
He did not feel ashamed to share his struggle when it came to accepting his own body throughout his life. ?yeah Man time to time of course I do?most people are like how do you feel that way. How do you feel not big enough? Look when you are in your high and you are in your biggest, you feel like yeah you are not big enough,? he said.?
Furthermore, the Nigerian bodybuilder claimed it’s all about ?the whole mindset.? He revealed that he had been suffering from it since his childhood. Instead of fighting it by trying to change his body, he changed his perspective on the matter. Dauda added in the Instagram story, ?It’s never gonna stop and disappear now?When you are able to separate the two (mindset and body), the better off you are.? Moreover, taking on a rather emotional tone, he stated that the issue will ?truly steal the joy out of your days making yourself believe that you?re not good enough and you?ll never ever reach your goal?..??

The seven-time Mr. Olympia was among the few athletes who were mindful enough to address the matter publicly rather than being ashamed of it. Sharing what worked for him, Heath said that practicing gratitude towards oneself heals it to some extent. Interestingly, the athlete pointed out that while bodybuilding can be full of physical achievements, issues like these make one feel like a loser.?
