Bjornsson had announced in February of this year that he would return to the powerlifting arena and try to break the record held by Dan Bell of lifting 1,182.5 kilograms. Bjornsson recently uploaded a video where he is lifting a 749 lbs frame for 15 meters and 2 sets. After announcing what he was going to do, he got into position, stood between the frame, and lifted it as if it were nothing.

He walked 15 m across the gym while lifting the whole frame, and then put it down after the distance was complete. He did the whole task in less than a minute and claimed that it was very easy to do. He had also recently warned  Mitchell Hooper about his comeback in a previous Instagram post.

It might be easy for him to do but lifting 749lbs like a pro is rather taxing even for a bodybuilder, let alone an average-sized human being. So, it’s not surprising that fans who saw him do it like it was nothing have been left awestruck.
