The rivalry between the king of bodybuilding Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler is dubbed as the ‘Greatest rivalry of all time’ in the realms of the sport. With Cutler’s debut in the Mr. Olympia in 1999, both the veterans had taken down the top two spots of the championship for five long years, competing against each other.

However, the 7X Mr. Olympia champion, who shares spot with Arnold Schwarzenegger, claims it either wise stating that his rivalry is way bigger than the rivalry between the two bodybuilding GOATS. 

Phil Heath talks about his rivalry with Kai Greene

In one of the recent videos on the official channel of Chris Williamson, he was seen interviewing Phil Heath and taking insights from him. In the middle of the questions, Williamson addressed a very important question to the 7X Mr. Olympia Champion. He said, “Talk to me about how you reflect on your relationship with Kai Greene because people call it the greatest rivalry in Bodybuilding.”

To this, Heath gave a positive acknowledgement and replied, “I think it is the greatest rivalry. I think it’s bigger than Jay and Ronnie’s just because they were friends, we weren’t.” He further added that Kai Greene and he wanted to be friends, but they could not.

Phil Heath and Kai Greene’s rivalry was a pretty intense one when they were competing for the Mr. Olympia title. Every time they came on stage, they would bring on their competitive face and the audience loved the duo for it. However, during an interview, when Greene was asked about Phil Heath, in a fun mood, he said, “I hate that guy” and instantly had a smile on his face.

He even added that he respects Phil Heath for his hard work and the passion that he has towards bodybuilding, and not to forget his exceptional achievements. Greene said, “It’s one thing I will not do. I do not take any credit away from that man, the athlete. His accomplishments speak for himself.
