The Predator actor further opened up about how they managed to raise their kids after separation in the third episode of the docuseries, Arnold.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s true revelation

In the documentary, the 75-year-old was seen taking his audience back in memory lane when his news of the affair became the talk of the town. The Governator admitted that his then-wife Shriver and his kids, including Baena, had to suffer because of his affair, which he termed a “major failure.” However, the ex-couple didn’t let the family crisis affect the children much.

“I am very happy within this sad story that Maria and I were able to raise the kids really well,” revealed the action hero. “But it is not what it was! Where we were all together kind of under one roof as family,” he confessed in the third episode, American, of the series. The close bond between the author and actor made their parenting tasks much easier after separation.

Acknowledging that Maria Shriver stood with him in thick and thin, Arnie confessed, “I think that there’s nothing more important than to have a good partner by your side, and every step of the way, Maria was exactly that,” in the documentary. “We have a really great relationship,” he added, referring to Shriver. The Twins fame actor revealed that the family comes together to celebrate all the special events even after the couple’s separation. Earlier, the Total Recall actor demanded an Oscar for him and Shriver for their parenting skills.

The upbringing of children became the primary focus of Shriver and Arnie after their separation. And they were successful in imparting the best values to their four kids. The bodybuilding icon even went on to demand an Oscar for Shriver and himself for co-parenting their children very well.
