Bodybuilding and its events are not limited to anybody, but their vast approach makes it arguably more special than any other sport. Any individual can try their hands at the competition; they just have to follow some basic rules. In recent times, an Iranian bodybuilder who is qualified to compete in the most praiseworthy title, Mr. Olympia, but for immigration issues, Behrooz Tabani’s participation in this year’s competition remains uncertain.

Therefore, IFBB pro coach Milos Sarcev is using his social media accounts to address this problem, as this is not the first time Tabani has gone through a visa-related problem. A few days ago, Sarcev updated his followers about Tabani’s matter and hoped he would receive an appointment for the visa.

Milos Sarcev is rooting for Behrooz Tabani to get a visa this time

Tabani faced this upsetting situation last year as well, before the 2022 Mr. Olympia. The Serbian coach uploaded a picture featuring Tabani lately on his Instagram handle. Sarcev said in his post that the US Embassy has not provided him with an appointment for the visa yet. Last year, too, he did get an invitation, but for some reason, everything got delayed. They informed him that he would get a response in a month, but that didn’t happen.

Milos wrote in the post’s caption, “still didn’t get his appointment with the US Embassy…and when he did – last year, they told him they’ll respond within 30 days.… Needless to say – 10 months later- he still didn’t get the response from his last year’s appointment.” He further added that the mere thought of what he must endure is enough to break one’s heart. He must cling to positivity and maintain belief.

In addition, Sarcev mentioned that “it is heartbreaking to even think about what he is going through.” He further wrote that “as he certainly earned his right to compete at the biggest bodybuilding contest…his (everybody’s) childhood dream/goal.” Sarcev explained that, with time, the challenge becomes more daunting. Behrooz replied to his coach’s post with the quote, “I’m so sorry, I always try until the last moment, but I don’t know what my fault is.” The political dispute between these countries can be considered a possible reason for Tabani’s visa problems. Moreover, a few days ago, Sarcev, through his social media, started a campaign for him.

A social media campaign for Tabani

Tabani’s participation in the final event is becoming increasingly uncertain with just a few weeks remaining. The situation remains delicate. This unfortunate event happening again to him has devastated fans. Behrooz and his coach Milos Sarcev have launched an assertive social media campaign in the hopes of finding assistance for Behrooz’s visa issues, as it is widely recognized that Iranian citizens reportedly face significant challenges when trying to obtain a visa for the USA.

The coach, via his Instagram account, said that he would pray to God that Tabani receives the visa for this year’s contest. It was his and many other bodybuilders’ dream to be a part of the most valuable bodybuilding events. He has earned his right to participate in Mr. Olympia 2023.
