Eventually, he appeared as a lead in Conan the Barbarian in 1982 and rose to stardom with the Terminator franchise.

After serving as the Governor of California for two terms, Schwarzenegger returned to Hollywood. Even in his seventies, he is actively shooting for films like FUBAR. So, as a person who is well-versed in American politics and movies, Schwarzenegger was asked, “The right often uses Hollywood as a punching bag: “It’s all wokeism; it’s not friendly to conservatives.” What do you think of that criticism?” by David Marchese for the magazine.

The Austrian Oak appreciated Hollywood’s efforts to speak about the right issues. However, Schwarzenegger wasn’t impressed by the Oscars. “Sometimes the Academy Awards is kind of like, “Look how good we are.” It drives me nuts. But it hasn’t hurt anybody. So, yes, the right wing always dumps on it. The left wing dumps on the right wing, the right wing dumps on the left wing. To me it’s funny, because I’m somewhere in the middle,” the 76-year-old confessed. Earlier, the Twins icon was bored by the Academy Awards event in 2021.

The Austrian Oak wants it to be more entertaining

Arnold Schwarzenegger never compromises on the entertainment factor, whether at the gym or on the movie sets. However, in 2021, he revealed his disappointment about the Oscars event on the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Arnie didn’t find the prestigious event glamorous, as there were no live audiences or red-carpet walks.

“I basically just turned it off and I just couldn’t watch it anymore because there was so much talent there on the stage that it was so boring – how could you make this, with all this talent, so boring?” Schwarzenegger opined. So, he suggested that the Oscars must be organized on Muscle Beach for more entertainment.
