Contrary to popular belief, Schwarzenegger’s initial foray into the sport of bodybuilding was driven by his deep-rooted love for acting. While Schwarzenegger’s ultimate goal was to pursue a career in acting, he used bodybuilding as a platform to kick-start his journey. He soon caught the eye of filmmakers who saw his potential to portray characters that demanded a powerful physical presence. After achieving milestones in Hollywood, ‘The Austrian Oak’ embarked on a remarkable transition into the world of politics, and in 2003, he made the bold decision to run for the position of Governor of California. However, one accomplishment that he was unable to achieve was to run for the US Presidential elections.

Talking about this, he revealed in the interview,?“I would have run if I would have been an American-born in 2016. Because it’s the only thing that I can’t do in America. I would never complain about that.” The lack of US Citizenship at the moment forced him out of the elections, but ‘Arnie’ seems to have no regrets about that. “America made everything that I have achieved possible,”?he said.?“So, I’m not gonna take this one thing and say, ‘Oh, isn’t it sad that I can’t do that?’ Forget about it.”
