However, her body idealism is not often reciprocated in her workout regime, as many complain about her lack of expertise in the fitness arena. Lately, her 2009 workout DVD faced brutal criticism from the elite exercise expert.

Dr.Michael Israetel is a renowned exercise scientist who often takes a dig at the Hollywood celebrity workout regimes while adding a better perspective to the exercises they often do. His latest video was of Kim Kardashian’s decade-old workout video that made no sense to the scientist.

Gym-goers can’t neglect the science involved in every exercise movement, as they target specific parts of the body. For example, crunches target the abs and squats the thighs. However, Kim Kardashian came up with a new version of crunches called the “standing crunch” which left the Exercise Scientist laughing.

 “It’s f****ng apparent the only thing that’s working in this movement is the back musculature,” he stated. He states the workout is not against gravity, which makes it useless. “This is pretending to lift and not actually lifting no one is benefiting from this at all,” Israetel further adds. 

 “Is This Funky Chicken Dance?” the professor questions. He declares that it would be useful at the pub but has no significance in the gym. It is not the first time Israetel lashed out at the Hollywood actors’ workout regimes. He once commented about Brie Larson’s warm-up session.

Brie Larson was critically acclaimed for her role as Captain Marvel in 2019. The Hollywood’s celebrated actress has undergone nine months rigorous training regime for the role. Despite her efforts, Israetel has concerns with Larson’s trainer’s “Full Body Foam Roll” session.

Commenting about Jason Walsh’s prescribed warm-up routine, Israetel said, “So foam rolling doesn’t adjust your spine, it just makes you feel nice, but if that works to get you more confident about your workout, that’s pretty good.
