Nick Walker, better referred to as ‘The Mutant,’ is a bodybuilder who came in at the third position during 2022 Mr. Olympia. Moreover, Walker won the 2021 Arnold Classic and New York Pro competition held in the same year. ‘The Beast,’ Nick Walke,r has become an absolute force in the realm of bodybuilding. This year’s competition is going to be cut-throat, with Samson Dauda, Hadi Choopan, Chris Bumstead, and many others being in good shape. 

Recently, Nick Walker decided to do an ‘Ask me Anything’ session on his social media handle. The fans bombarded him with questions about the bodybuilding sensation. One of the most attention-grabbing questions was related to cardio.

The Mutant posted the Instagram story with the caption, “Let’s hear them today.” Many questions were asked of the 29-YO bodybuilding legend. However, the most splashy question was asked by one of the fans who stated, “Do you walk or do anything before fasted cardio or just go straight to it?” The question took Nick by surprise, and he responded in a dazed manner.

The Mutant responded by asking, “People warm up before cardio? Is that a natural thing?” From his reply, anyone can understand the vagueness of the question. Moreover, he replied in shock, “No, I go and do cardio.” After responding to the question, Nick laughed, addressing the question till the end.

Concluding his answer, he said,

“I don’t warm up before cardio. I have never heard of such a thing. Warm up before cardio? What? No. You get on the bike, you start peddling, you crank up the resistance and you peddle your little heart out.” Walker went on to explain the entire process of cardio. Walker also added, “What is this warm-up before cardio? I can understand a warm-up before weight training. But for cardio? It’s cardio, just go do the d*** thing.” As it’s a well-known fact, cardio in itself is a warm-up exercise.

On the other side, Walker is preparing to lay his hands on the Sandow trophy this year amidst the immense competition that he is set to face.

Fans are waiting for the most prestigious competition of the year with their eyes on ‘The Mutant,’ who will prove to be a tough competition for all the other contenders.
