The internet’s most famous exercise scientist, who built his fame by scrutinizing celebrity training routines, posted a physique update. The updates showed that Dr. Mike Israetel certainly knows that actions speak louder than words because he proved the methods are indeed superior to those he critiqued. In fact, despite being well into his 40s, the bodybuilding coach caught Chris Bumstead’s attention.

Chris Bumstead is possibly the most popular bodybuilder on the planet right now. The reigning Classic Physique Olympia champion has won the title five times and trains under Hany Rambod. Rambod is statistically the most winningest coach in Olympia history. So it’s no easy task to impress CBum with your physique, especially when you’re well over 40.

The bodybuilding coach posted a snapshot of his front double biceps pose on Instagram. The image showed just how much progress the sports physiologist has made in the past few months. Mike Isreatel’s abs weren’t visible earlier this year, but now he sports a chiseled midsection. However, besides his physique, something else caught Chris Bumstead’s attention. “Is he naked?” commented CBum.

Mike Israetel intended to show off his midsection alongside the bicep gains. The photograph captured every muscle right down to the internal oblique muscle insertions in the lower abdomen. However, it seemed Israetel had to undress to show the definition of his lower abs. Man fans also had the same question, but Israetel has yet to respond.

Mike Israetel trained with Chris Bumstead’s on-stage rival

While the five-time Classic Physique Olympia champion is a humble and approachable guy off-stage, he is fiercely competitive on-stage. Terrance Ruffin, who placed second to Chris Bumstead at the 2021 Olympia, knows it better than most. Despite his masterful posing, Ruffin couldn’t defeat the Canadian and has fallen further behind in the last two years.
