IFBB Pro and social media influencer Noel Deyzel recently went viral after fulfilling his promise to the online fitness community. The popular fitness content creator with 5.2 million Instagram followers had a secondary where he celebrated the 500,000 followers milestone by oiling up. However, little did he know that it would start a trend drawing in other famous influencers like Larry Wheels.

The ‘oil up’ trend went viral after Deyzel went the extra mile and shot a slick video of oiling up before posing under perfect lighting. Although pro bodybuilders use tanning oil pose on stage, Deyzk used regular oil. The bodybuilder’s clip went so viral that even after a week, the trend is going strong thanks to fans and fellow influencers.

Although it’s gone viral, the ‘oil up’ trend has been difficult to follow for those who weren’t there to watch Deyzel’s 500,000 milestone celebration video. That’s because, at the time of writing, Noel Deyzel’s secondary account has been deactivated or is facing technical issues. Hence, no content about the original video is available, which could be why Larry Wheels tagged Deyzel in his post.

However, the fitness & mental health advocate quickly responded to Larry Wheels. The IFBB pro even found the perfect GIF to respond to the 29-year-old Classic Physique bodybuilder. In the GIF, Deyzel held up a bottle of oil to signal what Larry Wheels needed to do. Over 12,000 people have reacted to Deyzel’s comment within a day. However, the 29-year-old isn’t the only influencer capitalizing on this trend.

The trend continues to grow

Another popular fitness influencer, Alex Eubank, collaborated with Noel Deyzel a few days after the ‘oil-up’ trend took off. “Don’t ask me to oil up,” Eubank wrote in his post as he posed with Deyzel. However, the fans didn’t listen and demanded the young bodybuilder to jump on the trend.

In fact, the fans aren’t letting Noel Deyzel off the hook. Swarms of fans have posted comments related to the ‘oil up’ trend on every post since Delyzel posted the original clip. The South African fitness influencer has also fanned the flames by posting a meme related to the viral trend.
