The Schwarzenegger family is getting into fitness and well-being more than ever. With their latest venture into the world of protein bars, bodybuilding veteran Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s ex-wife Maria Shriver and his son Patrick Schwarzenegger have successfully managed to create a brand. Mosh PBC is a wellness brand that manufactures and sells protein bars that are intended to support brain health.

The mother-son duo started the brand in 2021. However, it wasn’t till January 2023 that their product finally hit the offline market. Fortunately, things have been going in their favor as they recently closed a $3 million series A funding round led by Santa Monica-based Main Street Advisors and is expanding its retail distribution strategy. However, what gave birth to this venture? Let’s take a look as Patrick Schwarzenegger gives insights about the same.

Mosh has already successfully managed to sell over $10 million worth of products in the last two years. What proved to be helpful for the mother-son duo was working online, as customers directly got in touch with them via their website. Talking about the brand, Patrick Schwarzenegger revealed in an interview with the LA Business Journal that they have managed to earn over $10 million in revenue already, and this is still the beginning. Maria, who divorced Arnold in 2021 because of his affair with Mildred Baena has been an advocate for Alzheimer’s for quite a while now. She has already authored several books on the topic, runs an NGO about the same, and has been the producer of an award-winning documentary called ‘The Alzheimer’s Project.’

Patrick Schwarzenegger revealed, “I said to her, ‘why don’t you create something that raises money for Alzheimer’s (and) raises awareness about how what people eat impacts the brain health.’” Adding to this, he also stated, “You can make it so it’s a mission-driven company that really just centers around what your brain-health doctors and nutritionists have told you to eat for a brain healthy diet, and that’s kind of how Mosh was formed.”

One thing that Arnold Schwarzenegger has passed on to his children is to never hesitate to try different things. Having tried his luck in bodybuilding, acting, politics, business ventures, and whatnot, he is the perfect example of this. With his latest venture into the realm of health and wellness, Patrick has surely learned a lot about the market. However, what is the end goal of Patrick with Mosh? Let’s take a look.

Patrick has always been way too enthusiastic about business. While he admits that his ‘business research’ often pisses off his girlfriend, his new venture with his mother was surely something to get excited about. Mosh has been performing well. Speaking about the brand and its future goals, Patrick revealed, “Our goal is to build out the brain brand and have multiple different product lines that speak to brain health,” Schwarzenegger said.

“It’s a $3 million round, so it’s not meant for forever, but it’s for this next stage of our career of really putting the groundwork down, starting to test out retail and making sure we have a viable product on that side of the business,” Schwarzenegger stated.
