Therefore, Vikings star Alexander Ludwig recently opened up about his hardcore diet regime for his role as a professional wrestler for the popular wrestling drama, Heels.

A recent YouTube interview by Men?s Health featured the actor revealing his diet for the show, which he, later on, regarded as being one of his toughest. He spelled out his entire diet plans explicitly, from his breakfast to dinner, although with a special revelation about his first meal of the day.?

As per the interview shared on Wednesday, the 31-year-old actor shed light on his daily meals, which set him up for the role of Ace Spade in Starz drama. Quickly getting to his routine, Ludwig claimed that he would prefer skipping his breakfast and workout after a cup of early morning coffee. ?In a perfect world, I’ll skip breakfast I’ll have a coffee before I train, and then I’ll go train,? he said.?

Explaining a fun workout trending on TikTok, that helps burn fat without losing muscle, the Canadian star shared, ?They call it the 12-3-30.? As per his insight, it expands into a treadmill workout at a 12 incline, the person going at 3 miles per hour for a period of 30 minutes. ?Basically low-intensity aerobic activity. And that really helps burn fat without losing muscle,? the Vikings actor noted.?

Whereas, for lunch, he goes for a chicken Caesar salad with ?romaine lettuce, chicken, some olive oil, and then maybe some vegetables in it. Just very basic.? And dinner includes chicken, fish or steak with veggies and potatoes. Yet, once again, he chimed in and said, ?That’s in a perfect world and that’s definitely when I feel my best.? Eventually, he was asked about the toughest diet he?d had to follow throughout his career. ?It has to be “Bad Boys” or “Heels.? It’s a tossup between the two,? Ludwig responded without flinching. Interestingly, the star has a special place for a WWE star.?

While on the media call for the promotion of the new season of Heels, Ludwig expressed his elation over the fact that he got to play a pro wrestler. Moreover, he opened up about his experience of working with real pro wrestlers as a teenager. Ludwig revealed that The Rock would tell him behind-the-scenes stories, which fascinated young Ludwig back then.?

?I?ve had the opportunity to work with some great wrestlers over my career. Adam Copeland, who?s Edge who was on Vikings??. And Dwayne Johnson? I remember the stories he used to tell me about what would happen behind the scenes,? the Hollywood star recalled. He had worked in the movie Race to Witch Mountain also featuring Johnson.?
