However, Victor Martinez shared a story from his childhood, this time around, which left the audience at a loss for words.

Victor Martinez is 50 years old. He is known for achieving one of the most prestigious titles, as he won the 2007 Arnold Classic. The same year, he also acquired the second rank in the Mr. Olympia contest. As he shared some instances from his childhood, some historical moments were revisited.

In his latest Instagram post, Martinez shared a few photos of him traveling. The very first from the series accounts him taking a selfie in front of the Berlin Wall. He recalled in the caption of his post how he had attested to the real event back when he was still in high school. He thus wrote, “The year was 1989 and I was in Highschool #georgewashingtonhighschool #washingtonheights and I still remember our homeroom teacher bringing that big old tv in the room for us to witness history in the making.”

 

Furthermore, he also mentioned how witnessing such a historical moment made him realize the reality of his surroundings. He commented, “It was the first time I saw how people come together to rise up from this divide oppression of communism. I had to visit #theberlinwall.”

Victor Martinez’s disregard for McDonald’s

In one of the podcasts of Generation Iron, he discussed with Yudin a former participant of the podcast, Akim Williams, who stuck with McDonald’s every single day of the year. Recalling how he could not afford McDonald’s as a kid, Martinez also testified that he does not like it once it cools down. He confessed, ?I think I hate it once it cools down; it is the worst. You can?t reheat it; yeah, unheatable, you know.?
